As the owner of Latasha Harris Family Childcare, I’m honest, reliable, caring, and loving. I try my best to ensure everyone is happy with my service. I go beyond to make sure my business is successful and follows all State of Virginia regulations. I have over 21 years taking care of my family kids, and 9 years doing so as a business.
I believe that each child is special and unique. I believe that each child deserves a place where they can be nourished both nutritionally and educationally. I am looking forward to working with your child/children and I am committed to providing quality care and making the childcare experience as wonderful as possible for both you and your child.
My Story
Latasha Harris Family Childcare was started in 2015. As a military wife, we move every 3 years. I've always worked retail and most retail stores don't allow transfers so this led me to become a stay-at-home mom. While I was working, on my off days and during summer breaks I would babysit and my nieces and nephews would come stay with us over the summer. I've always wanted to have my own business, but really couldn't figure out what I wanted to do. One day it hit me to open a childcare. Having a friend who is very successful in her childcare helped me to get my business off the ground. It has become my passion, I love it and wouldn't trade it for anything. In my care I'm more than just a provider, I'm so much more. We become family once you enter my home. We have since retired from the military and ready to expand my horizons.
